Bannerghatta National Park Was Discovered In the year of 1970 And Declared as a national park in 1974. Spread over a massive area of around 104km.it is a popular tourist destination with a zoo, pet corner, animal rescue center, butterfly park, an aquarium, a snake house, and a safari park.there are old temples in the park for glory and it is a destination for trekking and hiking. This zoo is under control of Karnataka and they are collaborating agencies like the University Of Agricultural Science, Bangalore And Ashoka Trust For Research In Ecology And Environment(ATREE) Bangalore. And within the national park area, six rural villages closed within three large enclosures for sheep and cattle farming. This park offers a guided bus tour all along the 6km safari roads which are specially made for safarists and foreign tourist gatherers. The park rainfall is 700 mm per year, and the small river suvarnamukhi runs through the national park.karnataka government introduced the four bore wells on 15 May 2014, it provides water in dry times.

The park is located 22kms outside Bangalore city and can be easily reached using public transports Like buses, cabs, autos, The nearest major landmark is the Jayadeva hospital checkpoint is the closest stop on the ring road.
