Bugle Rock Park

Bugle Rock is a giant rock in the Basavanagudi area of South Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka. The main rock formation was the estimation age of about 3,000 million years.it is a sudden rise above the ground of peninsular gneiss. this Park spreads over an area of 16 acres. And also this rock is similar to the rock at Lalbagh tower.
The ruler of Bangalore Kempe Gowda II Contributed some money for building Four watchtowers which are setting the limits for Bangalore's expansion, which incorporated a tower on the Bugle Rock on the southern limit as it directions an all enclose perspective on Bangalore city. It is said that at nightfall a guard would blow the cornet and hold a light which was well defined from the other three watchtowers one on the southern bank of the Kempambudi tank on the west, the second close Ulsoor Lake in the east and the third tower joining Ramana Maharshi Ashram on Bellary Road, in particular, Mekhri Circle in the north.
This Park also called as the “walkers paradise” Park was developed by the Horticulture Department of the Karnataka government. 70% of people visit the park every day most of them are senior citizens and children's And it is one of the green lungs of the garden city of Bangalore.it spread over an area of 6 acres, bugle rock also consists a small park with waterfalls and fountains.the highlights of this park is the beautiful Entrance Sculpted with rock pillars, having carving and painting. There is also a watchtower that offers a bird’s eye view of the city.
People can reach the Bugle Rock Park Through city bus number 36, 43 and 45 from the majestic market, and 3 from Jayanagar, 34 and 37 from Shivajinagar and T-12 From Yeshvantapur RMC. And also Auto’s Are available From anywhere from the city and you can hire the cabs also.
