ISKCON Temple

International Society for Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON) was founded by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada In the year 1966 in New York. Its main aim is to spread Bhakti Yoga and Krishna apprehension. Iskcon has more than 850 temples all over the world Including Bangalore.

Bangalore ISKCON is the largest ISKCON temple in the world which inaugurated in the year 1997. It located in Rajajinagar, Harekrishna Hills, Bangalore. It is a Hindu Architectural style temple.

History of ISKCON Temple

ISKCON Temple in Bangalore was established by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) during the late 20th century. The movement was founded by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada with the aim of spreading the teachings of Lord Krishna and the Bhagavad Gita worldwide.
The Bangalore temple was built with the support of devotees and patrons and has since grown into one of the most prominent ISKCON centers in India.
