Chitrakala Parishat Art Gallery was established in 1960 by the founder President late M. Arya Murthy and founder Secretary late Prof. M.S Nanjunda Rao. It is a leading center for visual arts. It has Museums, Galleries, Archives. It also facilitates a College of Fine Arts, graduation, Post Graduation and Research Program in Visual Arts for Indian and Foreign students.
The Art gallery has 18 Galleries among which 13 carries a permanent collection of paintings the others are rented out for exhibitions to the reputed artist. It is 4 Km from Main Bangalore city.
